Shannon has been working in the IT industry for 24 years. He started out in the U.S. Navy as an Information Systems Technician where he retired in 2007. He achieved his BS degree in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University while on active duty.
Shannon decided to go back to school, after he retired, to complete specialized IT certifications. While working toward his certifications, Training Concepts recognized his experience and offered him a job teaching applications. Shannon teaches Microsoft Office Suite and CompTia A+ classes.
